Also written as: CCTV footage · the footage · the files · the 8 files

Involved in

• The footage is "too sensitive" for anyone to see.

• These cameras represent the only visual record of the evacuations and interior conditions during the actual structural failures.

• The footage is high‑quality, color, and starts at 7:40 AM.

• The Port Authority has failed to produce documentation proving they shared this footage with the official investigations.

• Nothing graphic or disturbing happens on this camera.

• There is no death, no injury, and no emotional distress captured in these files.

• The eight files we are aware of are just a tiny drop in the bucket of what was actually recovered from the rubble.

• In the 25 years that the Port Authority has held this record, not a single family has been notified that this footage exists.

• There are eight clips, each nearly 30 minutes to one hour long, that have been seen by no one.

• CCTV footage from the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001 exists.

• The footage captured thousands of faces of commuters passing in front of the cameras, many of whom were traveling to floors they would never return to.

• If true, the Port Authority’s withholding of the footage borders on a federal crime.

• The footage we were allowed to view was limited to the PATH station beneath the complex.
