About TruthScore

A living model of unfolding events. Belief is earned.

When something happens in the world, the reporting on it does not arrive as a settled story. It arrives as fragments: assertions, denials, leaks, corrections, physical traces, and a very large amount of repetition. Most of the machinery we have for reading news is built to collapse that mess into a single account as quickly as possible — a headline, a verdict, a rating.

This site does the opposite. It keeps the competing accounts open, side by side, and shows what actually bears on each one. Every uncertainty is held as an open Question with all of its candidate answers rendered together — and with the possibility that none of them is right rendered as a branch of its own. What you see on a Question page is not a conclusion. It is the state of the argument.

What it is

What it is not

Learning your way around

The pages here are dense with mechanism — a hatched "unknown" bar, a ◆ on one piece of evidence and not another, a lens switcher, a version of events marked impossible and rendered anyway. Take the tour and every one of them is explained in order: what you are looking at, why it works that way, and what it connects to, with a live example beside each. Method is the shorter road — it covers the arithmetic alone.

Where it stands

This is early work on a real corpus, not a finished product. Pages will be thin in places; when they are, they say so in mechanical terms ("no independent evidence yet — 4 assertions await corroboration") rather than apologising or hiding the section. If something here looks wrong, report it.
